Neiman Marcus Copycat Recipe

3 sticks cinnamon
3 whole cloves
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
4 English breakfast tea bags
1/4 cup Tang instant powder
1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Place 6 1/2 cups of water in a saucepan and add the cinnamon sticks, cloves, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil and then turn the heat down to low. Cover and let simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and add tea bags. Let steep for 3 to 5 minutes (depending on desired strength). Strain the liquid into a clean saucepan and stir in the Tang and almond extract. Let cool to room temperature before transfer into a container for refrigerating. Serve over ice in a tall glass garnishing with a thin slice of orange or lemon. Serves 6.
